Thank you!! It took so long 😭 But the effort was worth it. And I hadn’t even noticed Grýla/Saoirse’s poses being the same 🙊 That was happy accident. Especially since there’s months between the pieces.
Your evil witch reminds me of the Witch of Endor from ND Wilson's 100 Cupboards series. My goodness, she was SO EVIL. The part where the cat comes through the cupboard in the first book was so intensely creepy that I put it down, looked at my husband, and said, "Let me read you this." So I did, and he replied, "WHAT ARE YOU READING??" But the funny thing is, everything in those books are Bible references (like the Witch of Endor, for instance). In book 2 they have to assemble the Kingslayer Arrow of Ramoth Gilead, and I had to go grab a concordance to remember what in the world happened there.
But hey, I am here for a dimension-devouring witch. Let us know when your book launches! I've been hunting for something like this for a while now.
Yess!!! I’ve always wanted a villain I can absolutely hate to no end! 🤩😈😇
I think I’m currently struggling with more the protagonist side for my medieval-fantasy trilogy more than my villains so it’s time to test out different methods!🤔
I love how you approached creating your villain! As much as I love redemption arcs, I think there should always be a clear distinction between good and evil and a truly black-hearted villain makes the best opposition. I can't wait to read your story one day!! 😍💕
I LOVE how much thought you put into this character! And I love how the hero and the villain are in an identical pose! It’s pure poetry!

Villains are key, and this one is awesome!
What unlocked it for me was, "What does evil look like in the world?"
It was a hard question to answer for myself, but it changed everything for me.
